They have three children, Jackie, Trevor and Kevin who’ve blessed them with three grandchildren, Evelyn, Sophia and Jack Fortune Royce III. Jack has been a licensed electrical contractor for more than 30 years and a life long lover of rock and popular music. As a younger man he played the saxophone and has taken up the guitar as an adult.

Tower of Power: Unconditional Love

Love unlocks the hearts and souls of most people. Songs can bring tears of joy. There are so many classic love songs. I could name 30 or 40, and to narrow that down to 5 was tough. Unconditional Love by Tower of Power is my first choice. Brent Carter vocals, Nick Milo piano.

Orleans: If I Don’t Have You

John Hall and Linda Ronstadt harmonizing at the crescendo. This was an album that Todd Lewis turned me on to. I played this song at my wedding which makes it timeless for me and my wife.

Al Green: Let’s Stay Together

“I'm so in love with you, anything you want to do, Is all right with me”. Nobody says it quite like Al Green. I love the guitar chords on this song. A lot of people have done cover of the song, Tina Turner's version is outstanding.

Earth, Wind & Fire: Can’t Hide Love

Earth Wind and Fire is one of my favorite bands. So many hits to choose from. The lead vocals of Maurice White and Philip Bailey are heavenly. Outstanding harmonies. You gotta love the horn section

The Beatles: If I Fell

Paul McCartney and John Lennon have written so many love songs and you just can’t pick a favorite but I like to play mostly Beatles song since I learned to play the guitar and this one my wife and I harmonize on. Till death do us part. In the words of the immortal Telly Savalas, “Who loves ya baby?”
