Amber of Clarksville, Tennessee submitted the five songs that she feels are so meaningful and pleasurable to her that she finds them therapeutic. About herself amber wrote, “I am a preschool teacher. I love to read, write, and listen to music. I am very into special effects makeup and hope to make it a profession.”

Radio Company: “Sounds Of Someday”

Amber’s first song was by Radio Company which is the duo of actor and singer-songwriter Jensen Ackles and singer-songwriter Steve Carlson. She chose the song “Sounds Of Someday” from their 2018 debut Vol. 1. About the song Amber said, “Radio Company features one of my favorite actors, Jensen Ackles, and this song is one of their best”.

Taylor Swift: “Out of the Woods”

Amber’s second song came from Taylor Swift’s fifth album, 1989, which was her homage to the pop music of the late 80s, 1989 to be specific, the year she was born. “Out of the Woods” was Amber’s choice from the record and about the song she said, “this is one of the first Taylor songs I heard”.

Metallica: “For Whom The Bell Tolls”

This song comes from Metallica’s second LP, 1984’s Ride The Lightning, the album that turned out to be their breakthrough. Amber chose “For Whom The Bell Tolls” because “I am a huge beat person so the beat of the song always catches me. I love Metallica.”

Amber chose “Halls of Illusion” from the Detroit horrorcore duo Insane Clown Posse’s fourth LP The Great Milenko which was released in 1997. She chose this, the fourth of her Top 5 Most Therapeutic Songs, because, “I started listening to ICP at a young age and this is forever one of my favs!”
